I've been a caregiver in one way or another my entire life.
My journey began by helping my mother care for my younger brother, who was born with Angelman syndrome — and that experience shaped the person I am today. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for individuals recovering from strokes, living with Alzheimer's and dementia, navigating Parkinson's disease, and facing other age-related challenges.
I started Bright Side because, as a caregiver, I saw firsthand that many people were receiving help — but not always the kind of personalized care and attention they truly deserved. I wanted to build a company that meets people where they are, recognizing that every client has different needs, goals, and challenges.
"Care is about more than assisting with daily tasks. It's about understanding the individual, building trust, and helping them maintain the highest possible quality of life."
Memory care holds a special place in my heart. I understand how important consistency, patience, and a calm presence are for individuals living with memory loss. That's why we strive to keep the same caregivers with our memory care clients whenever possible — allowing meaningful relationships and familiarity to develop.
Bright Side was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves care that is personalized, dependable, and delivered with genuine kindness — no matter where they are on their journey.
